Amanda Beene has been with us for three years now and brings 25+ years of industry experience sprinkled with a generous dash of southern charm, which together earns her customers’ faith and friendship.

She is a loving wife to her husband Chad. Chad is not only a successful business owner but also a farmer, showcasing his hard work and dedication to his craft. They recently moved to a beautiful new piece of farmland where they are bringing to life some long-held dreams.

Amanda and Chad are proud parents of Abbie and Ava. Abbie, a collegiate cheerleader, is known for her dedication to her sport and her ability to inspire others. Ava, on the other hand, is the youngest of the family but runs the shows (or so she thinks). With her vibrant personality and natural leadership skills, she takes charge and adds a spark of excitement to their household.

While Amanda's professional life keeps her busy, she cherishes the moments spent with her family and friends. Next time you talk to her, ask her if she has a baby goat in her kitchen.

Michelle Grindley joined our team in 2025 and takes care of our customers with a passion for providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships. Her focus is always on helping people feel confident and cared for as they navigate tough times or confusing situations.

Michelle is married to Mike, and they live right here in Mahomet. They are very active in the community, and you’ll frequently see them at all kinds of Bulldog sporting events. Michelle and Mike are proud parents to Maddie, who attends Illinois State University. They have worked closely with foreign exchange student programs for many years and are also licensed foster parents and are passionate about advocating for kids, especially teens, who are navigating the foster care system.

Abbie Beene is a junior nursing major and collegiate cheerleader with a strong work ethic and a super positive attitude. (Her mom, Amanda Beene, chuckled at that.) When she's not in class or cheering, she enjoys shopping (mom chuckled at that one, too), spending time with her dog, Gunner, and boyfriend, Walker. She loves duck hunting and staying active. Abbie works part time at NWSF -- making calls and scheduling appointments. Her southern accent and perky voice are always a win!

As for me, Nicole Wellman, I am a people collector who has prided myself on uncovering needs and walking folks through their toughest times. For me, there's no better way to do that than to talk with them about priorities, goals, dreams, and risks--doing my part to help mitigate the risks so they can chase the dreams for themselves and their loved ones.

It's an honor to be a mom/of six including a set of triplets who are about to turn 18! I'm a multi-published author of inspirational fiction and non-fiction and an award-winning editor. I also spent many years in corporate marketing leadership.

Somewhere along my storied journey, I found myself 100+ pounds overweight. I was unhappy, unhealthy, and unmotivated. Achieving wellness, for me, was a much deeper issue than a number on the scale. It meant emptying my life of things that didn’t promote peace. In that pursuit, I started doing triathlons, launched a new career, and got married. I learned (sometimes the hard way) how every personal habit, financial decision, and lifestyle pattern has an effect on overall wellness. Now, I'm not saying I have it all figured out, but I do have the tools to help it all make sense. I'm so excited to parlay my experiences into helping people make the insurance and financial decisions that are right for them, while having a little fun along the way!
